I used this table in my entrance hall. It is very plain with clean lines but was fairly easy to dress up. I’m pleased with the overall look.First off, the quality seemed pretty good. Once assembled it was pretty sturdy. There were not nicks, dings, or scratches that I saw. There were a couple extra pieces that were intended to be extras, which was nice. They did include a wrench tool as well. Overall, I'm happy with it though. However, the assembly method didn't seem like a great order to build it in. There were at least two directions that seemed to show the assembly with the side you need to screw in facing the work surface. Also, there is some hardware included that seemed really hard to get screwed in right. They include these threaded rods that screw into holes in the legs or top of the table. You NEED to thread the rods into the holes first, and it's hard to do because there's no way to grip them tightly. They are all threads. Plus they attach with a retaining washer, standard washer, and a nut. Trying to get those into the tiny holes is sorta tricky. I've definitely seen better designs. Heck, I would have rather just hand screwed some wood screws honestly.Lastly, it does have a tendency to tip forward. The retaining hardware is good to attach.I was quite surprised when I received this console table. The quality was much better than I expected for the price. It compares to furniture costing several times the price. It arrived in a large cardboard box. Opening the box, there was the actual product package wrapped in an insane amount of shrink wrap. I had to carefully use a utility knife to cut off all the shrink wrap. The product packaging was a little banged up but there were no punctures to the packaging. Once the product package was opened, the contents where held in place by Styrofoam and seemed well protected. I noticed a slight crack in the veneer at the front edge of the table top, but it is not noticeable unless you are really looking hard for it. I debated returning it, but then realized no one but me was aware of the crack, so I decided to keep it.The product is made of solid woods for the legs and mfd board for the shelves. The entire product is covered in a veneer which looks very nice. The packaging included all the hardware and tools necessary for assembly. This is a piece of flat-pack furniture which means it requires assembly. I am quite familiar with assembling flat-pack furniture and this piece took about 1.5 hours to assemble. It would have gone quicker with 2 people, but there is no issue assembling with only 1 person. The instructions are terse, but easy to follow. Once you realize all the parts have numbers stamped on them, it makes following the instructions much easier. The package did come with a tub of white glue, but there was no mention in the instructions as to where to use it. I assumed it was for gluing the wooden dowel in. All in all the product was not very complicated to assemble. Once assembled the product felt very sturdy and I doubt I will have any issues with it.The look of the table is very nice. It is a dark brown color and from a distance you cannot tell it is a veneer. The veneer seems quite durable, so it should resist scratching, but I would still be careful with it. It stands well on carpeting and does not want to wobble or pull away from the wall. It does include a small wall mounting kit if you should need it.Overall I would say this is a great product for the price. I would certainly recommend it to others. The color is lighter than described. It's not a dark taupe, rather a light one.Difficult assembly but managed. Looks niceI had this table on my wish list for probably a couple years now. When I was scrolling through the other day, I noticed that the price was crazy good and picked it up. It's not a top-of-the-line solid wood item (obviously), but we're very pleased with the quality of this item so far. It took a good 45 minutes to unpackage, clean and assemble the item. Everything fit together very well. The quality is on par with some of the furniture we've purchased from Value City Furniture in the past (and have been using for about 10 years now). I'll stop back out to update this if there are any issues going forward. But, so far, I'm really happy with this!Don't be intimidated by the number of different screws, bolts, etc. that come with the item (I did, a little!). They all come together easily and the instructions are clear. This is the perfect space-filler for under a large mirror in our bedroom. My only complaints, if you can even call them complaints, are that the little wood stickers that cover the round holes where some bolts fasten in were bent. So, they didn't stick too well. Also, the instructions do not indicate when to use the glue that is provided. I assume it should be used on the little wooden peg, but by the time we got through the instructions it was too late to go back and add it. I'm sure it's fine without. It seems very sturdy and secure.Product is as described. Packaged well with no damage. Assembly was relatively easy… finished assembly is sturdy and as described. Good product, very satisfied customer. This was a good value and holds a pet cam dispenser well. Easy assembly.Very nice product, Value for money.Beautiful . So so happy with the colour and the look of this piece.
