I normally buy this shampoo (and conditioner) at my local drugstore but decided to try getting it from Amazon at a cheaper price. While the shampoo looked and smelled the exact same, it was much runnier and I had to use more of it to get the same effect. Same with the conditioner. It was obvious that this was watered down. I’m not sure if its a fake on Amazon, or the manufacturer purposely diluted these versions for Amazon as they are sold cheaper. It was a noticeable difference.Just a warning to all! I’ll be purchasing these from my local drugstore from now on.This was exactly what I was looking for, as I have eczema around my ears and wasn't sure if my scented shampoo was the culprit. This Live Clean shampoo lathers very well with a small amount. I usually use a quarter-sized dollop for my shoulder-length hair. I have thick, straight black hair, and this shampoo has been great for keeping my hair clean and healthy. I follow-up this shampoo with the Live Clean Sensitive conditioner, and my hair has minimal frizz! The bottle may look small, but I have been using it for 2 months every other day, and I've barely used up 1/3rd the bottle. Great stuff! This product is good for someone who needs a shampoo with absolutely no scent so 5 stars for scent-free. It is concentrated so it is very good 5 star value. I can't really judge the moisturizing aspect so I gave it 4 stars but it works well for my normal hair. I find it does not leave any residue so it really is 'clean'. I don't use a conditioner so I only use the the shampoo and it works for me. Very good for chemically sensitive people or households.I've tried 4-5 shampoos over the last few months from live clean. Every single one broke out my hair line and made my skin itchy, broke out the back of my head. Finally tried this one again last night and now my legs are itchy yet again (from it dripping out) and I have 3 new red irritated pimples on my hairline. No thanks. Not for me I guess.Because of many reactions to so many things lately, I've had to go scent-free on many products. While this one is MOSTLY scent-free, I was disappointed to see that there are essential oils in it, which I'm trying to avoid at the moment because of sensitization that I'm trying to pinpoint. There's only a very small amount which, for most people, should be safe to use. I do get itching on my scalp still, though, but I'm not sure if that's from the shampoo or something else.It cleans, but I find a mild residue that I don't seem to be about to rinse out. It's minor, but does weigh down the hair a little, which Is more noticeable on my fine hair.Exactly what I needed for my hair! It doesn’t irritate my scalp like A LOT of other products so I consider that a huge win! Plus the price is way more reasonable then expensive brands. I’m sure I’ll be buying both the shampoo and conditioner many more times. There’s a good amount in each bottle, and the consistency of both are great. If my hair is very dirty I sometimes shampoo twice (first time with just a little product focused mainly on the scalp and second time all over roots to ends and then rinse well) then leave the conditioner in for a couple mins while I wash my face and then rinse it out. I Also use the conditioner as shaving cream, makes legs very soft. Two thumbs up!This is not - not the Live Clean "sensitive" that used to be. It is some other product. It did not cause an allergic reaction. I have to shampoo twice to get any proper lather in comparison to their other shampoos that I have used since "sensitive" was taken off the market. I do not like this shampoo.Love this brand of shampoo/conditioner and was SO excited that they made one scent free. I use their scent free lotion regularly as well.If you're very sensitive to smell (like MCS) there is a tiny bit of scent but much much less then most overscented shampoos and conditioners out there. Wish more places sold it! So far only seen it on Amazon.
